Ava Mallett is an artist and curator from Austin, TX and is currently living in Fife, Scotland. Since 2018, Mallett's studio practice has been on hold whilst caring full time for their partner with severe ME/CFS.

Mallett received a BFA from Moore College of Art & Design in 2017. Attending the AICAD NY Studio Residency Program in DUMBO New York, NY and interning at Burren College of Art in Clare, Ireland in 2016. Previously exhibiting in the US at Fleisher Art Memorial, Mt. Airy Art Garage, The Galleries at Moore, Blues Day Studios, and Georgetown Art Works; as well as curating and installing art shows in the US and Ireland. Mallett received a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in 2022.
